Sharyn “Sparky” Baxley is a singer-songwriter, community builder, and creative force rooted in Myakka City, Florida. Her music draws inspiration from Folk, Blues, and Americana, with a heartfelt style centered on storytelling, connection, and the spirit of the local community.
As Managing Director of Myakka Moonlighters and an artist involved with the Myakka Music Festival, Sparky brings together her passion for music, creativity, and community. She has also helped organize local music events, including Dag Fest, celebrating the life and musical legacy of Myakka City entertainer Dagmar Beavers.
Through her songwriting and festival work, Sparky continues to create opportunities for musicians and audiences to connect, celebrate local talent, and share the unique character of Myakka. Her work reflects a simple belief: music brings people together, tells our stories, and strengthens community.

Since 2019, Myakka Moonlighters have been bringing live music to Myakka City. We are a group of business owners who worked together to bring outdoor concerts and events to our rural area.
